Movies from the past…ah, forget it.

Film reelI enjoyed doing the short movie reviews that I took up a couple of months ago and have really missed doing them.  I’ve also really missed watching movies, but with my wife’s school schedule and busy life at home with 3 small kids, it gets hard to even squeeze in a 30-minute TV episode (without commercials).  However, I’ve seen quite a few, collectively, over the last couple of months.

These are not in any particular order…just like my memory.

Despicable Me – I took my oldest (5) son to see this at the $1.99 theater and immediately bought it when it hit the shelves the next week…for myself.

Devil – I wanted to catch something short last night and this fit the bill.  It also wasn’t that bad.

Resident Evil: Afterlife – I liked the first three…and I still only like the first three.

Hell is for Heroes – I was down with a stomach flu for a few days when I decided to catch this ‘classic’ starring McQueen.  I guess it had its moments, but I’m pretty sure I slept through them.

Twilight: Eclipse – I only watch hoping Frankenstein will show up and rip everyone’s heads off.

The Expendables – I tried so hard not to get my hopes up for this movie so that I wouldn’t be let down.  I really need to try harder next time.

Machete – Danny Trejo kills everyone.

Restrepo – I love documentaries and this one is a big a reason why.

There may have been one or two others that I’m not remembering, but for some reason or another, I’m quite sure that’s probably a good thing.  Until next time!

      Unfortunately, no. :(

I will ruin my reputation and say I didn’t find the first two that bad…decent enough to watch Eclipse, in fact. But Eclipse outright terrible. Terrible for terrible even.
