Meta<browser />, the utlity I just finished reviewing, had a beta release yesterday (sorry, been busy and missed it). The download can be found here and lengthy support thread is starting here. The application is off to a very good start.
There is also a competing utility that was released last week over at theGreenButton. It goes by the clever name of Metadata Tool. It’s not as flashy and doesn’t have the control over metadata like Meta<browser/>, but I also some of you may want something that is no frills and just works. Here it is.
VMCVonage also has a new release that fixes some of the issues brought on by some page relocation on Vonage’s website. It also will now install on W7. It was released a few days ago, but maybe you missed it like I did. Get it here.
I’ll probably be a bit slow over the next few weeks. I’m still wrestling with building the new storefront for my Mom, but I have made some pretty good progress over the past day. I ended up trying CubeCart again and found a template that I could alter to give her a very good start. She was happy with it anyway. I’m only using the free v3 for now, but if it keeps going like it is, I may talk her into purchasing a license for v4 since Google Checkout is included. I saw a hack that enables it with v3, but it appears to not work in all cases and I don’t want to leave her with a hacked up site. CubeCart is pretty cheap anyway.
