Are you ready for the digital TV transition?
We’ve all been hearing about the digital TV transition taking place on February 17th as though it were the end times quickly approaching. I’ve taken it with a grain of salt simply because it does not affect me. I do not have any rabbit ears in my home and the only antenna I’ve used in the past few years was for grabbing OTA HD anyway.
My curiosity piqued this morning about, however. I started to wonder about everyone else and those who do actually get good enough reception to use OTA for local SDTV analog tuning. So, if the digital TV transition affects you, post here and let us know how and what you are having to do to satisfy the new requirements. Even if you are currently getting digital OTA, are your local station going to be providing additional channels? How about QAM? Is it going to be going live or getting better from your provider?
I decided to add a link to the digital TV transition official government site. You can get coupons for the converter box that is required (if you need one). Link.
