HD-PVR 1212 arrived.

I didn’t see anything when I got home from work, but when my wife came in, I heard her yell, “You have a package!”, and I knew what it was.

I only opened the box it came in and took a quick snapshot of it, but hopefully I’ll get a chance to install TV Pack and get it hooked up for a run this weekend.

As I posted last week, I’ll be testing this out with the new software from DVBLogic called DVBLink for HDPVR.  This software allows VMC and 7MC to use the Hauppauge HD-VPR 1212 as a tuner.

Stay tuned!

I didn’t care for it much using the software that comes with it. It doesn’t shine until you use it as a tuner in 7MC.

Well, nothing even remotely related to WinTV excites me, but I’m looking forward to getting it going this weekend (maybe tonight since the wife and kids will be gone until late).

I won’t be trying it in 7MC though as I installed TV Pack on my bedroom HTPC. I wish I could go with 7, but there’s still a few quirks with it that keep me from wanting to make it a live frontend for now. Can’t wait to give it a run though!
