As of around noon today, I’ll be heading out until no earlier than Monday of next week, so I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! There’s a slight chance I’ll post something before then, but don’t expect it.
While this little site will never break any traffic records, I do want to thank those of you who continue to come and read what I write here. I never thought at any time I would gain any kind of real reader base, but I’m thankful for the several hundred (sometimes thousands) of daily readers I get. It still amazes me every time I login that that many of you visit. I hope 2010 provides me with more to bring to you.
Sometime this afternoon I’ll find out if our third child will be a boy or girl. I already have two little boys, so the jury’s out on a trifecta or not. Then, tomorrow morning, we take off for the 7 to 9 hour drive (depending on the kids, traffic and/or weather) to Eastern Kentucky for Christmas vacation where my side of the family live.
Also, Media Browser Firestorm has been postponed until Christmas Eve (24th). It will also don a major version number (2.2) instead of a minor update (i.e. 2.1.4) since the changes warrant it. From what I have tested so far, it will be nothing short of fantastic (as usual). I don’t know how they can continue to amaze with each release, but they will do it again…mark my words. Be prepared for an early Christmas present (barring any additional setbacks)!

Thank you very much, I love the site… I just built my first HTPC in August so I am relatively new to all of the MCE applications. I generally browse hack7mc, and thegreenbutton but with all of the crap on there I find you generally aggregate the quality apps/plugins/mods from each. Congrats on the baby, hope all goes well and you have a happy and healthy holiday. I have no plans for the holiday(I’m Jewish) so I’ll be hanging out at home this weekend looking forward to Firestorm keeping me busy.

Keep up the good work. I read this daily now just to see if you have something new I missed. Congrats on the new child. I have only one of my own, but she is enough for me. Happy Holidays and do your newest child a favor. Never combine Christmas and his/her birthday together. A friend of mine had that always happen to him and he forver had a complex about it. Be good, be safe and most of all be happy!!

Thanks for all the comments, but I was not clear. Baby was not born today…today was the sonogram that told us what we were having! My mistake!
